Article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) is a federal law that governs a soldier’s failure to obey orders or regulations. Amidst the tensions of Fort Braxton, Dan Ravenport finds himself grappling with his identity and purpose. Captured within the confines of the military compound, he is faced with interrogation by Homeland Security agents who deem him a national security threat deserving termination. As the orders for his execution trickle down the chain of command, a Sergeant in the US Army hesitates, questioning the morality and legality of the directive. Defying the General’s insistence to follow orders, he highlights the unlawfulness of the command, sparking tensions and risking charges of insubordination or court martial under Article 92. In this crucible of conflicting loyalties and convictions, Dan Ravenport is forced to confront the uncomfortable question – what do I say, in the face of such ethical dilemmas?

The intricate web of deceit and betrayal is unraveling, and Maine is at the center of it all.

Who am I? I am Joseph D McGee, also known as J.D. Hawk. Originally from Hartford, CT, I embarked on my journey in the industry as a writer back in 2016. With a background in both fiction and non-fiction, my passion for storytelling led me to establish our video production company, catering to the video needs of clients along the East Coast. Following the passing of my father, Stephen McGee, we created Hawk Studios. Today, I operate a successful video production company, delivering top-notch services to clients across the USA. As a versatile professional, I wear several hats – from writer to DOP, producer, and director. With 10 indie film awards under my belt, I continue to push boundaries and create impactful visual narratives.
