Hawk Studios a movie production company in New England; has scheduled its World Film Premiere of its feature film, “Article 92,” to debut on February 14th at 6pm at The Regent Theatre in Arlington. Joe Hawk the writer and director of the film doesn’t call this a night out at the movies – it’s an experience. During the events of the premiere, we will have networking opportunities with the cast and crew along with trivia and photos occurring during the event. This is a rare chance to celebrate with the cast and crew who are attending. This will bring new meaning to sit with the actors you are watching.

"Article 92" is a new movie that combines science fiction with a military-based moral dilemma. Local actor from Massachusetts, Stephen Hug plays the lead in the film whom is a washed up journalist named Dan Ravenport who discovers the US army dragging an alien across the roadway. During his capture and interrogation, the military decides he shall be executed, but the question arises whether that order is lawful or unlawful Dan is left questioning everything he thought he knew as he delves into the deep, dark secrets that have been hidden from the public eye. This unexpected turn of events has brought  him into a world of mystery and danger, testing his courage and journalistic integrity like never before. Who am I? Just a man caught in the crossfires of truth and deception, determined to uncover the real story no matter the cost.

The filming of the production started September 2023 and ending November 2024 with filming occurring all over New England. Some of the stops in Massachusetts include Hudson, MA filmed at the American Heritage Museum. The production team also filmed in Winchendon, MA at the Winchendon Mansion. The Last stop in MA was in Hawley, MA. Beyond MA the film was also filmed in Connecticut, Maine, Rhode Island, and even the United Kingdom inside a replica Oval Office Replica.

Joe Hawk the films creator goes on to say, “The talent in this film was impressive.” We had actors  from Hawaii, New York, Florida, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, California, Connecticut, and even the UK bring life to the characters.

With Article 92 being an independent film, I believe we set the bar high on this film, Joe Hawk explains. During a road closure in Bristol, Connecticut we performed a car flipping stunt on a closed set to execute it correctly with one take. This is not a Hollywood movie, we had one car and one chance and it paid off.

So what kind of film will this attract? Joe Hawk goes on to say, “It’s the X-files meets the film Crimson Tide. With the X-files you have that alien themed content but with Crimson Tide it’s about questioning orders and what to do when you know they are wrong.” We blend these together very well to create a dark alien themed content but then that moves to a cat-and mouse thriller.

Don't miss the chance to witness the life-sized alien prop created by monster movie expert Rob Cobasky will be at the theatre. This will be one night to immerse yourself in a roller coaster of thrills and mysteries and obtain pictures of the life-size alien.
